Exploring Gastown | Pamela & Adam

Pam and Adam’s couple session was on a day that’s pretty typical of Vancouver in Spring – mostly cloudy, partly rainy – but we are so used to that and we loved the fun and lively mood that these two created!  They are completely adorable together!  Gastown is always a really unique location to photograph - we’re always struck by how many corners we see and how they shift depending on the light and time of day.

Pam and Adam’s wedding is in Whistler later this Summer, so we are looking forward to capturing the ruggedness of the mountains and sky – in complete contrast to the urban environment of Gastown.  We are so fortunate for Vancouver to give us these different worlds.

A Windy Vancouver Day | Sabine & Craig

On the day of Sabine and Craig’s couple session, we warned them about the gale force winds blowing around Stanley Park. We said it might be a little chilly and uncomfortable. And yet they wanted to go ahead anyway. And so we did! Not surprisingly, the most wonderful images came from this session: the ruggedness of the empty beach with the tide out, the wind blowing Sabine’s hair everywhere, and the beautiful colours at sunset. It all made for an amazing experience.

We feel very fortunate to have met Sabine and Craig – they are so kind and gentle with each other – and we know that their wedding day is going to match their love for one other.

Enjoy the following images from their lovely session!

Fun and Play | Nichole & Jeff

Nichole and Jeff were so wonderful to photograph – they are really comfortable together and it’s easy to see why these two are getting hitched! They both have a great sense of humour, and love to play together – including a rolling “race” downhill – we can’t remember who won! The hills of UBC provided a great backdrop for this – and for the gorgeous images created by our Associate Photograher, Aimee Makris.

We’re looking forward to their wedding which is right around the corner now – we know you two will have a blast!
